So we chose a size that fits a single serving: 18 cm wide with a 700 cc bowl, enough for udon, stew or soup. We left the aluminium uncoated, so the 125 g body heats quickly. We added a lid with a black knob and two cut-out handles, and shaped the pots to stack neatly. Nothing here is extra. Today, the pot still does the quiet job it was made to do: it cooks your single portion, goes to the table, and stores away in a small space.
