A soft silicone brush that does not hurt
The brush head is made of soft silicone, so it is gentle on gums when your baby chews it. The product page describes it as built like a teether, which means your baby can mouth it freely while getting used to the feel of a toothbrush in the mouth.
A throat-guard loop with two holds
The wide loop is designed so that it does not go far into the throat, and it can be held in two ways. A baby can grip it with both hands at first, and later hold it with a fist, so the brush grows with your child.
An easy brush to keep clean and tidy
The brush withstands heat up to 120 degrees C, so you can use microwave, dishwasher and hot water disinfection. The listing notes that chemical disinfection is not suitable. A quick rinse after use also removes fibres or dust that may catch in the soft brush head.
A shape that babies like to hold
The brush comes in an apple or a banana shape, both about 71 x 12 x 95 mm and 18 g. The size and the light weight suit small hands, and many parents say that the cute shape helps a baby accept the brush.
A practice brush, not a deep cleaner
This is a first brush for getting used to the feel, from about 6 months. It is not meant to replace brushing by a parent, and you should still clean your baby's teeth with a suitable finishing brush as teeth come in. Always supervise your baby while using it.
Made by a pioneer of baby products
The brush is made by a baby and kids range that the maker's page describes as lab-tested, with non-toxic materials. It is made in South Korea, as the maker's page states, and we ship it directly from Japan in its hanging pack.

STORAGE

Rinse and dry the brush after use, store it clean and dry away from direct sunlight, and keep it out of reach of children when not in use.

SHELF LIFE

Durable item with no expiry date; replace it if the silicone is damaged.

PREPARATION

No preparation required — ready to use as packaged.

IMPORTANT

Always supervise your baby while using the brush, and do not leave your baby alone with it. Check the brush before each use and stop using it if the silicone is torn or damaged, because small parts could come away. Do not use chemical disinfectants. Keep it clean, and keep hot-water-cleaned parts away from your baby until they cool.

Quick Answer

Our first baby toothbrush is a soft silicone loop shaped like an apple or a banana, with a throat-guard design and two ways to hold. It is heat resistant to 120 degrees C, weighs about 18 g, suits babies from 6 months, and is made in South Korea.

The Early Starter

Your baby has no teeth yet but loves to mouth things. The soft silicone head works like a teether and starts the habit of a brush in the mouth.

The Safety-First Parent

You worry about a brush going too far in. The wide loop and throat-guard design keep the brush out of the throat, so you can relax while your baby plays.

The Hygiene-Minded Parent

You want to keep things clean. The brush is heat resistant to 120 degrees C, and microwave, dishwasher and hot-water disinfection are all fine, so cleaning is simple.

The Mimic-Me Parent

Your baby copies you when you brush. Handing over a brush of their own, in a cute apple or banana shape, makes brushing time into something to share.

Frequently Asked Questions

How old must my baby be?

The maker suggests the brush from about 6 months of age, and some parents let a younger baby hold it before the first tooth appears, as it works like a teether. Always supervise your baby, and check the brush before each use. The shape is wide, which keeps the brush out of the throat, and it is light.

How do I clean it?

The brush is heat resistant to 120 degrees C, so you can use microwave, dishwasher or hot water disinfection. Chemical disinfection is not suitable, according to the listing, so please avoid disinfecting liquids. Rinse the brush after each use and remove any fibres or dust from the soft head, then let it dry fully before you store it away.

Is it apple or banana?

Both shapes are offered, and they are the same size, about 71 x 12 x 95 mm, and the same weight, about 18 g, with the same silicone brush head. You can pick the shape and colour that your baby likes. The apple is red and white, and the banana is yellow and white, so it is easy to tell them apart.

Where is it made?

The maker states that the brush is made in South Korea, with a polypropylene and TPE handle and a silicone brush. We ship it directly from Japan in its original hanging pack, packed carefully. It is a practice brush for babies, and it does not replace brushing by a parent, so please keep supervising closely.

How and when will my order ship?

We ship directly from Japan. Delivery takes 7-14 business days, and tracking is provided so you can follow your parcel from Japan to your door.
