our began manufacturing household products in Toyama Prefecture in 1956, building expertise in precision-moulded plastics for Japanese kitchens where space has always been limited. The Totono series grew from a simple insight: drawers waste space when every container slides freely, so a modular interlocking system would let each piece lock to its neighbour and turn a cluttered drawer into a fitted grid. The Kitchen Tool Stand R applies that logic to upright utensils — spatulas, ladles, turners — that typically topple or tangle inside flat organisers. Its polypropylene body is dishwasher safe, and the connector joint clicks into any other Totono module without tools, so the layout adapts whenever the collection changes. More than six decades after our first pressed plastic in Toyama, the Totono locking system remains one of the most practical answers to the compact-kitchen challenge that defines Japanese home design today.
