Japanese kitchenware makers have spent decades shaping small tools around real stove-side problems, and a hot burner ring is one of them. We worked in that spirit on the Mini Tripod Stand, model HB-4293. We gave it a hooked top that lifts a ring by its edge and a triangular base that holds the ring upright. We made it from stainless steel wire and kept it to 6.5 x 8 x 18.5 cm and about 0.1 kg. Today it sits beside stoves, so putting away a hot ring takes seconds.
