Authentic Niigata Craftsmanship
Miyamura Uzumaki Fu is a premium staple of Japanese cuisine, known for its distinctive spiral shape and exceptional ability to absorb flavors. Crafted in the renowned Niigata region, this dried wheat gluten is a versatile ingredient that brings a chewy, satisfying texture to traditional and modern dishes alike. It is a high-protein, plant-based essential for any authentic Japanese pantry.
Preparation and Usage
To prepare, rehydrate the gluten in warm water for approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Once softened, gently squeeze out the excess moisture. Its porous structure is specifically designed to soak up savory dashi in Oden, rich sauces in Sukiyaki, or delicate broths in miso soup, ensuring every bite is burst with flavor.
