Benefits

Three flavours come mixed together in every single bag: Each bag mixes colorful sherbet, blue Hawaii and blue raspberry pieces. The label describes them as a sherbet of assorted fruits, a citrus and pineapple drink flavour, and a blue raspberry flavour, so every handful tastes different.

The bag says these flavours are popular in America: The front of the bag reads that these are flavours popular in America, and the pack artwork says the assortment has finally landed in Japan. You get three American-style flavours in a Japanese chewy candy.

A standard bag holds sixteen pieces in three flavours: The label lists six colorful sherbet, four blue Hawaii and six blue raspberry pieces as the standard count. It adds that the bag is filled by weight, so the real count can differ from the standard.

Each 4.3 g piece has 18 kcal on the label: The label gives the nutrition for one piece: 18 kcal, 0.07 g protein, 0.34 g fat, 3.6 g carbohydrate and 0 g salt equivalent. You can count pieces and work out your own total.

Eight bags of 68 g arrive in one pack: The pack holds eight bags of 68 g, 544 g of candy in total. That is 128 pieces by the standard count, enough to share across several snack breaks or small gifts.

Soft chewy cubes in pink, yellow and pale blue: The label art shows cube-shaped candies in pink, yellow and pale blue, one for each flavour. The sticky, chewy texture is why the bag carries a note about dental fillings and eating soon after opening.

Who Is This For

The Flavour Variety Fan: You want a chewy candy with more than one flavour. Each bag mixes colorful sherbet, blue Hawaii and blue raspberry in pink, yellow and pale blue cubes, and most bags hold only one taste, which gets repetitive. Every 4.3 g piece has 18 kcal, so you can count what you eat. Eight bags give you 544 g to share or keep. Gelatin is the labelled allergen, and the bags are made on equipment shared with milk products. If you avoid gelatin, or you dislike sticky candy, choose a different product.

Product Story

In 1975, the Hi-Chew line was born as a soft chewy candy, and the label on this bag still says so. This assortment brings together three flavours that the bag calls popular in America: colorful sherbet, blue Hawaii and blue raspberry. A standard 68 g bag holds sixteen cubes of 4.3 g, and each one has 18 kcal. We ship eight bags directly from Japan so you can taste all three flavours and share them with friends.
