Product Story

It started with a slim glass and a sponge too thick to fit inside it. Tall tumblers and narrow wine glasses leave little room, and many sponges are thick and rigid, so the bottom stayed out of reach. We built the Clean Keeping net sponge around that one problem. We kept it flat, at about 2 cm thick, and wrapped polyurethane foam in a polyester net so it bends freely into a curve. We sized each sponge at about 14.5 x 7.5 cm, small enough to hold comfortably and light enough that all 5 in a set weigh about 33 g. We added 3 colours, 2 pink, 2 blue and 1 yellow, to keep your kitchen cheerful and organised. Today the same bendable sponge sits ready by your sink, built to reach the bottom of a narrow glass and to wash your plates just as easily.
