Self-Standing Hinoki Wood Cutting Board with Walnut Swivel Base

Product Overview

Experience the peak of Japanese culinary tradition with this handcrafted self-standing Hinoki cutting board. Meticulously shaped from premium Hinoki cypress sourced from the Shimanto region of Japan, this board is celebrated for its natural resistance to mold and bacteria. The soft nature of the wood fibers acts as a cushion for your high-end knives, ensuring they remain sharp for longer periods compared to plastic or bamboo alternatives.

Innovative Self-Standing Design

The integrated walnut base is not merely an aesthetic choice; it features a swivel mechanism that allows the board to stand vertically on its own. This feature is essential for maintaining hygiene as it promotes 360-degree air circulation, allowing the board to dry rapidly and preventing the warping or moisture accumulation common in traditional flat-laying boards.

Artisanal Quality

Each piece is finished by skilled craftsmen who highlight the natural grain and the soothing, forest-like aroma of the Hinoki wood. The contrast between the light Hinoki and the dark, rich walnut base makes this a statement piece for any modern kitchen countertop.
