Tosaryu's master craftsman Ike Ryusho has spent decades perfecting the production of Shimanto Hinoki products. Each mat is naturally air-dried for 3 to 6 months without artificial desiccants, preserving the wood's essential oils and ensuring the phytoncide fragrance remains active for years of daily use.
