Umezawa Premium Aomori Hiba Round Wood Cutting Board - Antibacterial

Product Overview

The Umezawa Premium Round Cutting Board is a masterpiece of Japanese woodworking, expertly crafted from authentic Aomori Hiba wood. This rare timber is celebrated for its remarkable durability and high concentration of hinokitiol, providing a naturally hygienic surface for all your culinary needs. Unlike mass-produced boards, this artisan-crafted piece brings the serenity and purity of Japanese forests into your kitchen.

Antibacterial and Self-Healing Properties

Aomori Hiba wood is naturally resistant to mold and bacteria, making it one of the safest materials for food preparation. The wood’s unique cellular structure allows it to self-heal from minor knife marks, maintaining a smooth surface over time. This resilience ensures that your cutting board remains a staple in your kitchen for years to come.

Superior Knife Edge Protection

Professional chefs prefer Aomori Hiba because of its characteristic surface tension. The soft yet firm nature of the wood fibers absorbs the impact of the blade, significantly reducing wear and tear on your expensive knives. The round shape is not only aesthetically pleasing but also provides an ergonomic, versatile workspace for efficient chopping and food prep.
