Benefits

A rice paddle that scoops and serves rice: A 24 g rice paddle made of polypropylene scoops and serves rice, as the maker lists. It is light in the hand, and the compact 165 mm length fits a small bowl and a rice cooker.

Size, weight and care notes stated up front: The paddle is 165 mm long, 66 mm wide and 12 mm thick, and it weighs about 24 g. A dishwasher may limit its use. The place of production is Japan. Check these notes against your rice cooker and your drawer before you order.

A rice paddle instead of a spoon or a ladle: A metal spoon can scratch the pot, a plain spoon lets rice stick and a ladle is too big for rice. This paddle is made to scoop and serve rice, so servings stay neat and the pot is safe.

Size, weight and material written out in full: The page lists 16.5 x 6.6 x 1.2 cm, which is 165 x 66 x 12 mm, at about 24 g. The material is polypropylene heat-resistant to 100°C, with Japan as the place of production.

Take the paddle, serve the rice and wash it: Take the paddle and scoop the rice into each bowl in one clean motion. Afterwards, wash the paddle by hand with mild soap and dry it well, and keep it out of the dishwasher.

The main photo of the rice paddle: The main product photo shows the rice paddle on its own. The small light shape looks friendly, plain and practical, and it is easy to picture beside a bowl of fresh rice.
