Hibino Kinmokusei Steam Eye Mask, Self-Heating Warm Eye Masks with Osmanthus Scent, Disposable, 22 Individually Wrapped Masks

$38.57

Brand	Hibino
Type	Self-heating disposable eye mask
Content	22 masks
Heat	About 40 C for about 40 minutes
Scent	Osmanthus (kinmokusei)
Size	18.5 x 8 cm per mask, 390 g per box

A warming pad that starts by itself
Each mask has a self-heating pad that starts to warm when it meets air, so you need no plug or microwave. The listing says it reaches about 40 C within seconds and lasts about 40 minutes. Wearers say it takes a minute to warm up and then stays warm.
Soft cotton that rests lightly on the eyes
The cover is lightweight, breathable cotton that wraps the eyes in warmth without pressure. The pad sits over each eye, and the mask is flat, so you can use it lying down. Wearers also note that the pads add a little weight over the eyes.
Ear loops that keep it in place
Soft, stretchy ear loops hold the mask over your eyes, so you can lie still or sit and rest. Wearers say it stays put, and that the loops can be pulled off if you prefer to use the mask on another part of the body.
A light osmanthus scent that fades
The mask carries a light osmanthus (kinmokusei) scent, which the listing describes as a seasonal flower fragrance. Wearers say the scent fades as the heat fades. If you are sensitive to scents, try one first, and stop use if you feel irritation.
Used correctly and with some care
A mask starts to heat when you open the sachet and cannot be stopped, so open it only when you are ready. Do not use it while sleeping, on broken skin or on a child, and take it off if it feels too hot or if your eyes feel irritated.
Twenty-two masks in a gift-ready box
The box holds 22 individually wrapped masks, so you have enough to share or keep for months. We ship the box directly from Japan, and the listing states no country of origin, so none is shown here, and the heating pad's composition is not given.

STORAGE

Keep the masks in their sealed sachets and store the box in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and close the box after use.

SHELF LIFE

We ship with a minimum of 6 months remaining shelf life.

PREPARATION

No preparation required — ready to use as packaged.

IMPORTANT

Use only on intact skin, and take the mask off if it feels too hot or if your eyes or skin feel irritated. Do not use it while sleeping, on a child, or on skin that is injured, swollen or numb. Open the sachet only when you are ready, because heating cannot be stopped once it starts. Do not heat the mask in a microwave or reuse it, and keep unopened and used masks away from small children.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the mask heat up?

Each mask has a self-heating pad that starts to warm when it meets air, so you need no plug or microwave. Open the sachet only when you are ready to use the mask, because the heating cannot be stopped once it starts. The listing says that it warms in seconds and lasts about 40 minutes.

Is the scent strong?

The scent is a light osmanthus (kinmokusei) fragrance that wearers describe as flowery and soft, and that fades as the heat fades. If you are sensitive to scents, try one mask first. Stop use if your eyes or skin feel irritated, and do not use the mask if you are allergic to fragrance or plant scents.

Can I use it while sleeping?

No, we advise against using a heating pad while you sleep. Use it for a rest before bed, at your desk or on a trip, and take it off if it feels too hot. Do not use it on a child, or on skin that is injured, swollen or numb, and keep the masks away from small children.

What comes in the box?

The box holds 22 individually wrapped single-use masks, each about 18.5 x 8 cm, and the box weighs about 390 g.
