Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the genuine Japanese chlorella refill?

Yes. The green and gold pouch shows the maker's name, the name clean-cultured chlorella, the refill tag, the quality mark and the count of 900 tablets. The ingredient list, nutrition and directions come from the back of the same pouch, so what arrives matches what you read here. The pouch holds 900 tablets of 200 mg, 180 g in all.

Where is the chlorella grown?

The pouch back says the chlorella powder is made in Korea. The listing gives Japan as the country of origin, which conflicts with that, so we state the Korean powder and do not claim a Japanese origin for the chlorella. The tablets are pressed and packed by a Japanese maker in Gunma. If the chlorella must be from Japan, this product will not suit you.

What is in it?

The pouch names chlorella powder made in Korea and silicon dioxide as a tablet aid. For 30 tablets of 6 g it prints 19 to 30 kcal, protein 3 to 4 g, fat 0.3 to 0.9 g, carbohydrate 0.5 to 2.5 g, iron 0.6 to 2.7 mg, vitamin B2 0.24 to 0.54 mg and chlorophyll 90 to 195 mg. Ranges are printed because chlorella varies by batch.

How do I take it, and who should avoid it?

The guide is 30 to 40 tablets a day with water or warm water, divided into several doses. Please stop taking it and see a doctor if itching, rash or stomach upset appears. Ask a doctor first if you are being treated, pregnant or nursing. The allergen table lists none of the 28 designated items. A tablet stuck in the throat can be crushed, with water to follow.

How is it shipped, and how fresh will it be?

We ship directly from Japan, and delivery takes 7 to 14 business days. Every pouch is sent with a minimum of 6 months of shelf life remaining, and tracking is provided so you can follow your parcel. When it arrives, keep it away from heat, humidity and direct sunlight, and close the zip firmly after each use so that the tablets stay dry and keep their colour.
