Benefits

Eucommia leaf as the only ingredient: The box label lists eucommia leaf as the only ingredient, and the box front calls it 100 percent eucommia leaf, so each bag holds only crushed leaf and no added flavor.

No caffeine, printed on the box: The box front is marked non-caffeine and the nutrition table lists 0 milligrams of caffeine after extraction, so the tea is not a source of caffeine and suits the evening.

Leaf hand-picked from May to August: The listing and the side panel say the leaf is hand-picked only from May to August, when the maker says its geniposidic acid is highest, and the leaf is dried fresh by machine rather than in the sun.

Boil, hot-steep, teapot or cold-steep methods: The back panel gives four brewing methods, boiling in 1 to 1.5 litres for about ten minutes, hot-steeping in a bottle, brewing in a teapot for about four minutes and cold-steeping in a bottle for about eight hours.

Thirty tea bags in a slim box for a cupboard: The box holds thirty tea bags of three grams each, 90 grams in total, and measures about 19 by 14 by 5 centimetres, so it fits a cupboard shelf, and one bag makes a litre of tea when you boil or cold-steep it.

Made in China, shipped directly from Japan: This eucommia leaf tea is made in China by our maker. We ship it directly from Japan with careful packing, and we recommend you check the box and its cap or pump when it arrives, so you can use it with confidence.
