Features

SPF30 PA+++ Sun Protection: The labeled ratings describe protection against UVB and UVA rays. The stick brings both ratings into a format applied directly to skin.

15 g Twist-Up Sunscreen Stick: The container holds 15 g of sunscreen. Twist up the stick to apply without first dispensing sunscreen into your palms.

Approximately 5 mm Extension For Application: Extend about 5 mm and apply in a zigzag motion. Spread sunscreen over small areas with your fingers, then blend gently with your palms.

0 UV Absorbers And Alcohol-Free: The formula excludes UV absorbers and alcohol. These exclusions help you choose according to your preferences, but do not guarantee irritation-free wear.

6-Month Freshness Period After Opening: FANCL specifies use within 6 months after opening and within 3 years unopened. The manufacture date is printed on the product.

Benefits

Choose Sun Protection That Fits Your Formula Preferences: SPF30 PA+++ protection comes without UV absorbers or alcohol, matching two preferences you may have for daily sunscreen. That gives you a clearer choice for your routine, while remembering that these exclusions do not guarantee comfort on sensitive skin.

Get Sunscreen On With Less Hand Mess: The twist-up stick applies sunscreen directly to skin, with about 5 mm extended for application. Customers describe quick, easy use without dirty hands. Fingers still help with small areas, giving you a simpler start without pouring sunscreen into your palms.

Help Your Skin Feel Smooth After Application: This SPF30 PA+++ stick is designed to blend into skin, and one customer says it glides on smoothly and isn't sticky. That can make sunscreen feel easier to wear, though another customer noticed stickiness, so your experience may differ.

Bring More Control To Small Area Application: Extending about 5 mm gives you a short stick surface for direct application, followed by finger spreading on small areas. You can focus on those spots before blending with your palms, making each part of the routine feel more manageable.

Make Washing Off Part Of A Simpler Routine: The 15 g stick is designed to wash off with soap or facial cleanser, giving you a familiar removal step after wear. That may make evenings feel simpler, although some customers reported difficulty removing it, so experiences can vary.

How to Use

Hold the container like a pencil.

Twist up approximately 5 mm of sunscreen.

Apply the stick in a zigzag motion.

Spread sunscreen over small areas with your fingers.

Gently blend with both palms.

Wash off with soap or facial cleanser.

Who Is This For

The Thoughtful Sunscreen Shopper: You want sunscreen that fits into busy mornings, whether you are getting yourself or your child ready to head outside. Messy application and a sticky finish can make that small step feel like extra work. You check for UV absorbers, but you also care about how sunscreen feels and washes off. FANCL brings SPF30 PA+++ protection in a stick you apply directly, with finger blending where needed and removal with soap. Some reviewers report stickiness or stinging when sweating, so comfort varies. If simple application and clear formula choices matter to you, this format fits those priorities.

Product Story

In 1980, Kenji Ikemori started FANCL after cosmetic additives had become a source of skin concerns in Japan. The company set out to reduce those everyday worries and introduced its first Mutenka skincare in 5 mL vials in 1982. That focus on reducing inconvenience was reflected in the Clear Up UV Cut Stick: direct application, SPF30 PA+++ protection, and removal with soap or facial cleanser. Its simple format addressed a familiar problem that remained relevant today: fitting sun care into a busy routine.
