Ikenaga Recro SI-8B Professional Manual Shaved Ice Maker - Cast Iron

Authentic Professional Performance

Experience the unparalleled delight of authentic Japanese kakigori with the Ikenaga Recro SI-8B Professional Shaved Ice Maker. This meticulously engineered machine is crafted from heavy-duty cast iron to deliver the perfect texture and consistency required for light, fluffy, and melt-in-your-mouth desserts. Whether for a high-end cafe or an elevated home kitchen, this tool represents the pinnacle of Japanese culinary craftsmanship.

The Mastery of Shaved Ice

Kakigori is much more than simple shaved ice; it is a refined Japanese art form. The Recro SI-8B is designed to replicate the traditional hand-shaved technique, producing ice so fine it mimics the texture of freshly fallen snow. By allowing for micro-adjustments to the stainless steel blade, users can customize the thickness to suit various syrups and toppings, from traditional matcha to modern fruit purees.

Unmatched Stability and Longevity

The choice of cast iron for the Recro's construction is a deliberate commitment to quality and performance. The significant weight of the machine provides absolute stability during the shaving process, eliminating vibrations and ensuring a smooth, quiet rotation. This robust build ensures that the machine remains a functional heirloom piece, capable of delivering consistent results for decades without the need for electronic components.

Effortless Operation and Maintenance

Despite its professional-grade capabilities, the Ikenaga Recro is remarkably intuitive. Users simply need to load a standard ice block, adjust the blade height, and turn the ergonomic handle. The mechanical advantage provided by the internal gearing makes shaving even the hardest ice blocks effortless. Maintenance is equally simple, requiring only a thorough drying after use to preserve the integrity of the cast iron and stainless steel components.
