Japanese stationery makers have spent decades solving small desk problems, and one of the most familiar is the crooked hole. When paper is punched by eye, the holes drift off centre and the edges of the pages no longer match. We built the Rakuake PN-G25D around that problem. Our orange paper-size guide pulls out from the front, then rotates and slides to centre the sheet in one action. Our link mechanism changes the lever ratio, so a stroke through 25 sheets feels lighter and smoother. We kept the body to 130 x 120 x 126 mm and about 0.48 kg so it sits easily on a desk.
