The dark grey face was treated with hard resin to catch limescale, soap scum and stains with water alone, and the light grey face was covered in soft acrylic pile for gentle washing. We shaped the body like a peanut, about 15 x 9 x 3 cm and 20 g, so it fits the hand and washes a wide area at once, and we added a hanging cord so it could rest on the wall. Today, this sponge is made in Japan and still asks for nothing but water.
