Crafted from Kiso Hinoki (Kiso Japanese Cypress) — one of Japan's three most prized woods — every stool is shaped by hand in the Kiso Valley of Nagano Prefecture, where hinoki has been harvested and crafted for over a thousand years. The wood is naturally antibacterial, pleasantly aromatic, and remarkably durable in wet environments, making it the ideal material for bathroom use.
